Point your domain to the NEW version of your app

⚠️ The Problem

People visiting viberidesnyc.com are seeing the OLD version because your domain is pointing to outdated DNS records.

You need to update 2 things: Base44 dashboard first, then Network Solutions DNS.

PART 1 — Get Your Production URL from Base44

Do this first! You need the correct Base44 URL before changing DNS.

Go to Base44 Dashboard

Go to Settings → Custom Domain

In the left menu, click "Settings" then find the "Custom Domain" section

Enter your domain and get the CNAME value

Type viberidesnyc.com — Base44 will show you the exact CNAME value to use

It will look something like:

vibe-ride-87507f9c.base44.app

Copy that CNAME value — you'll need it in Part 2

PART 2 — Network Solutions: Step-by-Step

Go to Network Solutions & Sign In

Find Your Domain

After logging in:

• Click "Domain Names" from the top menu
• Find viberidesnyc.com in your list
• Click the "Manage" button next to it

Open DNS Settings

On the domain management page:

• Scroll down and look for "Advanced DNS"
• OR click "Manage Advanced DNS Records"
• This opens your DNS control panel

Add/Edit CNAME Records

You need to add (or update if they exist) these CNAME records:

📌 Record 1 — for www.viberidesnyc.com:

Host / Name:

www

Type:

CNAME

Points To / Value:

vibe-ride-87507f9c.base44.app

(use the value you copied from Base44 in Part 1)

TTL:

3600

(or leave default)

📌 Record 2 — for viberidesnyc.com (no www):

Host / Name:

(just the @ symbol, or leave blank)

Type:

CNAME

Points To / Value:

vibe-ride-87507f9c.base44.app

Network Solutions Note: If it won't let you add a CNAME for @ (root domain), try adding an A Record for @ pointing to Base44's IP. Or redirect @ to www in their domain forwarding settings.

Save Changes

Click "Continue" or "Save" to apply changes.

Network Solutions may ask you to confirm — click through any confirmation dialogs.

Wait & Test

DNS changes take time to spread worldwide:

• 15 min - 2 hours: Usually works
• Up to 48 hours: Maximum wait

Clear Phone Cache

iPhone (Safari):

Settings → Safari → "Clear History and Website Data"

Android (Chrome):

Chrome menu (⋮) → Settings → Privacy → "Clear browsing data"

Then open viberidesnyc.com in a fresh browser — it should show the NEW version!

Clear browser cache, try incognito/private mode, or try a different browser entirely.

DNS hasn't propagated yet. Wait 1-2 more hours and check again.

Can't add CNAME for @ →

In Network Solutions, use their "Web Forwarding" feature to redirect viberidesnyc.com → www.viberidesnyc.com instead.

SSL/HTTPS error →

Base44 auto-provisions SSL. Wait 15 minutes after DNS propagates — it fixes itself.
